Job Description:
- Database Design and Development:
- Design and implement efficient and scalable database structures using DB2.
- Develop, test, and maintain stored procedures, triggers, and other database objects to support application functionality.
- Query Optimization:
- Analyze and optimize SQL queries to ensure optimal database performance.
- Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks in the database layer.
- Data Integration:
- Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate database functionality with web and desktop applications.
- Implement data import/export processes and ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) procedures.
- Database Administration:
