Job Description:

Automation: Analyze, design and implement tools for systems and VMWare infrastructure deploy/management.

· Design, Administration and development of VMware Infrastructure & define best practice.

· Design, Administration and development Azure Infrastructure.

· Development/management of VMware system Infrastructure storage configuration.

· Architect, Administration, and development of storage Infrastructure & define best practice.

· Architect, Administration, and development of backup Infrastructure & define best practice.

· Architect, Administration, and development infrastructure solutions with hybrid cloud options.

· Administration and development of OS Images (Windows & Linux) and orchestration in both Azure cloud & in our datacenters.

· Plan capacity, engage other Itron organizations on infrastructure design and cost.

· Resolve Support issues and come up with permeant fix.

· Tier 2/3 On Call support of production infrastructure.

· Disaster Recovery Operations.

· Automation, scripting of System infrastructure.

· Install, configure, test and maintain operating systems, application software and system management tools.

· Monitor and test application performance for potential bottlenecks, identify possible solutions, and work with developers to implement those fixes.

· Increase system efficiency and lower the human intervention time on any tasks.

· Lead Engineering organization in infrastructure support/solution.
